Northern Railway Diwali Special Trains 2016

To clear extra rush of passengers during Diwali Festival-2016, Northern Railway will run special train No. 04438/04437 Anand Vihar T.- Patna- Anand Vihar T. Jansadharan Express Special (18 trips) ,04040/04039 Anand Vihar T.- Saharsa – Anand Vihar T. Jansadharan Express (06 trips), 04042/04041 Anand Vihar T.- Jay Nagar- Anand Vihar T. Jansadharan Express(14 trips), 04912/04911 Sirhind-Saharsa-Ambala Express unreserved (08 trips) and 04420/04419 Anand Vihar T.- Darbhanga – Anand Vihar T. Superfast Express (16 trips). Train No. 04438/04437 Anand Vihar T.- Patna- Anand Vihar T. Jansadharan Express Special

The 04438 Anand Vihar T.- Patna Jansadharan Express Special Train will depart from Anand Vihar T. on 20 October 2016, 22 October 2016, 24 October 2016, 27 October 2016, 29 October 2016, 31 October 2016, 03 November 2016, 05 November 2016 and 07 November 2016 (09 trips) at 11.00 p.m. to reach Patna at 02.00 p.m. the next day.

The 04040 Anand Vihar T.- Saharsa Jansadharan Express Special Train will depart from Anand Vihar T. on 21 October 2016, 28 October 2016 and 04 November 2016 (03 trips) at 11.00 p.m. to reach Saharsa at 09.00 p.m. the next day.

In the return direction, 04039 Saharsa – Anand Vihar T. Jansadharan Express Special Train will depart from Saharsa on 24 October 2016, 31 October 2016 and 07 November 2016 (03 trips) at 08.30 a.m. to reach Anand Vihar T. at 07.00 a.m. the next day.

The 04912 Sirhind-Saharsa Express Special Train will depart from Sirhind on 18 October 2016, 25 October 2016, 01 November 2016, and 08 November 2016 on every Tuesday (04 trips) at 05.05 p.m. to reach Saharsa at 09.00 p.m. the next day.

In the return direction ,the 04911 Sirhind- Ambala Cantt. Express Train will depart from Saharsa on 20 October 2016, 27 October 2016, 03 November 2016 and 10 November 2016 on every Thursday (04 trips) at 08.30 a.m. to reach Ambala Cantt. at 11.50 a.m. the next day.

Train No. 04420/04419 Anand Vihar T.- Darbhanga – Anand Vihar T. Super Fast Bi-Weekly Express

The 04420 Anand Vihar T.- Darbhanga Super Fast Bi-Weekly Express Special Train will depart from Anand Vihar T. from 19 October 2016 to 12 November 2016 on every Wednesday and Saturday (08 trips) at 01.45 p.m. to reach Darbhanga at 08.00 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, 04419 Darbhanga – Anand Vihar T. Super Fast Bi-Weekly Express Special Train will depart from Darbhanga from 20 October 2016 to 13 November 2016 on every Thursday and Sunday (08 trips) at 03.15 p.m. to reach Anand Vihar T. at 11.50 a.m. the next day.

Comprision: 2 AC Two tier ,03 AC Three tier, sixteen sleeper Class and two second class cum luggage van coaches.

Diwali Special Trains 2016 between Amravati and Udhana

To manage the extra rush of passengers during the Diwali festival 2016, Railways will run 10 special trains between Amravati and Udhana on special charges. Details given below:

09025 special will leave Udhana at 11.00 hrs on every Monday from 17 October 2016 to 14 November 2016 (5 trips) and will arrive Amravati at 00.20 hrs next day. 09026 special will leave Amravati at 09.00 hrs on every Tuesday from 18 October 2016 to 15 November 2016 (5 trips) and will arrive Udhana at 20.20 hrs same day.

Route: The Diwali special trains 2016 will halt at Vyara, Nandurbar, Dondaicha, Sindkheda, Amalner, Dharangaon, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Varangaon, Bodwad, Malkapur, Nandura, Jalamb Junction, Shegaon, Akola, Murtajapur, Badnera

Composition: one Second Class Chair Car, 12 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Van.

Reservation: Bookings for 09026 special on special charges will open from 17 October 2016 (10 General second class and 2 General second class cum Guard’s Brake Vans will run as unreserved coaches with normal charges)

Howrah New Jalpaiguri Durga Puja special trains 2016

To manage extra rush of the passengers Indian Railway will run one pair of Howrah – New Jalpaiguri weekly superfast Puja Special on 07 October 2016.

The up train (03059) will leave Howrah at 00.10 hrs and will reach New Jalpaiguri at 10.10 hrs. The down train (03060) will leave New Jalpaiguri at 12.35 hrs and reach Howrah at 22.50 hrs on the same day.

Composition: The train will compose of 10 AC chair car and 5 AC 3 – tier coaches.

Santragachi - Pune Durga Puja Special Trains 2016

To manage the extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja 2016, South Eastern Railway will run three Pairs of AC special trains between Santragachi-Pune-Santragachi on 03, 04, 05 and 07 October 2016 from Pune and 05, 07 and 09 October 2016 from Santragachi.

The Santragachi-Pune AC Special(01420) leaving Santragachi at 06:00 hours will reach Pune at 20.05 hours, the next day. In the return journey, the train(01419) leaving Pune at 10:30 hours will arrive Santragachi at 18.30 hours, the next day.

The Special train with thirteen AC 3 Tier coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilsapur, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Bhusaval, Nasik, Igatpuri, Kalyan, Panvel and Lonavala stations enroute.

Durga Puja Special Trains 2016 between Bandra (T) and Ajmer

To manage the extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja 2016, Western Railway will run Bandra (T)-Ajmer Weekly Superfast Special train on special fare. The details are as below:

09622/ 09621 Bandra (T)-Ajmer Weekly Superfast Special (10 Trips)

Train No. 09622 Bandra (T)-Ajmer Weekly Superfast Special train will start from Bandra (T) at 06.15 hrs on every Monday and will reach Ajmer at 03.25 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 17th October, 2016 to 14th November, 2016 with total 5 trips.

Train No. 09621 Ajmer – Bandra (T) Weekly Superfast Special train will start from Ajmer at 06.30 hrs on every Sunday and will arrive Bandra (T) at 04.45 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 16th October, 2016 to 13th November, 2016 with total 5 trips.

Route: This train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Durgapura, Jaipur and Kishangarh stations in both the directions.

Composition: The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier & Sleeper Class and II General coaches.

The booking for Train no. 09622 Bandra (T)-Ajmer Weekly Superfast Special will be opened from 12th September, 2016 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.

South Eastern Railway Durga Puja and Diwali Special Trains 2016

To manage extra rush of passengers during ensuing Durga Puja and Diwali Festivals, South Eastern Railway will run 58 pairs (116 trips)of festival specials towards Pune, Gondia, Durg, Visakhapatnam, Puri, Mumbai, Ernakulam and Chennai during the period from 03 October 2016 to 30 November 2016.

08043/08044 Santragachi-Gondia-Santragachi Weekly AC Superfast Puja Specials (9 pairs):

The Santragachi-Gondia Special(08043) will leave Santragachi every Monday at 14:50 hours and and will reach Gondia at 06:05 hours, the next day. In the return direction, the train( No 08044) will leave Gondia every Tuesday at 12:40 hours and and will arrive Santragachi at 06:10 hours, the next day.

The Special train will run during the period from 03 October 16 to 29 November 2016.

02860/02859 Santragachi-LTT-Santragachi Weekly AC Superfast Special (2 pairs):

The Santragachi-LTT Superfast AC Special(02860) will leave Santragachi on 27 October 2016 and 03 November 2016 at 18.30 hrs. and will reach LTT at 23.45 hrs., the next day. In the return direction, LTT-Santragachi AC Superfast Special (02859) will leave LTT on 29 October 2016 and 05 November 2016 at 13.20 hrs. and will arrive Santragachi at 18.15 hrs., the next day.

02822/02821 Santragachi-Pune-Santragachi Weekly AC Superfast Special (8 pairs):

The Santragachi-Pune Superfast AC Special(02822) will leave Santragachi every Saturday at 18.30 hrs. and will reach Pune at 02.45 hrs., on Monday. In the return direction, Pune-Santragachi Superfast AC Special(02821) will leave Pune every Monday at 10.30 hrs. and will arrive Santragachi at 18.15 hrs., the next day.

The Special train will run during the period from 08 October 2016 to 28 November 2016.

02809/02810 Santragachi-Puri-Santragachi Superfast Weekly Special (8 Pairs):

The Santragachi-Puri Special(02809) will leave Santragachi every Thursday at 19:00 hours and will reach Puri at 03:20 hours, the next day. In the return direction, the train(02810) will leave Puri every Friday at 13:30 hours and will arrive Santragachi at 22:15 hours, the same day.

The Special train will run during the period from 06 October 2016 to 25 November 2016.

08119/08120 Tatanagar-Durg-Tatanagar Weekly Special (9 Pairs):

The Tatanagar-Durg Special(08119) will leave Tatanagar every Tuesday at 20:00 hours and will reach Durg at 06:15 hours, the next day. In the return direction, the train(08120) will leave Durg every Wednesday at 21:40 hours and will arrive Tatanagar at 09:25 hours, the next day.

The Special train will run during the period from 04 October 2016 to 30 November 2016.

08189/08190 Tatanagar-Visakhapatnam-Tatanagar Weekly Special (6 Pairs):

The Tatanagar-Visakhapatnam Special(08189) will leave Tatanagar every Friday at 13:00 hours and will reach Visakhaptnam at 05:25 hours, the next day. In the return direction, the train(08190) will leave Visakhaptnam every Saturday at 17:45 hours and will arrive Tatanagar at 10:45 hours, the next day.

The Special train will run during the period from 07 October 2016 to 12 November 2016.

In addition to the above, the following trains have already been notified:-

02853/02854 Howrah-Ernakulam-Howrah Weekly Superfast Suvidha Specials

The Howrah-Ernakulam Suvidha Special will leave Howrah every Saturday at 17:00 hours (till 27th November 2016) and will reach Ernakulam at 06:00 hours on Monday. In the return direction, the train will leave Ernakulam every Tuesday at 08:50 hours (till 29thNovember 2016), and will arrive Howrah at 23:00 hours on Wednesday.

The Suvidha Special consisting of 19 coaches (AC 3 Tier-4, AC 2 Tier -1, Sleeper Class-12 and Luggage Van-2) will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, ongole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Erode and Coimbatore enroute and in the return direction, the train will also stop at Aluva, Thrisur and Palakkad.

00841/00842 Howrah-Chennai-Howrah Weekly AC Superfast Special

The Howrah-Chennai AC Superfast Special will leave Howrah every Saturday at 12:40 (till 26th November 2016) hours and will reach Chennai at 15:05 hours on Sunday. In the return direction, the train will leave Chennai every Sunday at 17:10 hours (till 27th November 2016), and will arrive Howrah at 18:30 hours on Monday.

The Special trains consisting of 14 AC-3 Tier coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Nellore between Howrah and Chennai.

By running of these festive specials, South Eastern Railway has been able to generate around 71,000 (Seventy one thousands) additional accommodation for the huge rush of passengers during ensuing festive season.

Advance Reservation Period (ARP) of these trains is 60 days and for Suvidha special is 30 days(excluding journey date).

Durga Puja special trains 2016 between between Howrah and Ramnagar

To manage the extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja 2016, 8 pairs of trains will run between Howrah and Ramnagar.

Train No. 05008 Howrah-Ramnagar Puja Special Train will leave Howrah station at 8.35 hrs. on 9, 16, 23, 30 October and 6, 13, 20, 27 November, 2016 ( Sundays) and will reach Ramnagar at 16.45 hrs. on the next day.

Train No. 05007 Ramnagar-Howrah Puja Special Train will leave Ramnagar station at 17.55 hrs. on 7,14,21,28 October and 4, 11,18, 25 November, 2016 (Fridays) and will reach Howrah station at 7.10 hrs. on the 3rd day.

The Special train will have Air-conditioned, Sleeper Class and General Second Class accommodation.

Diwali 2016 Special Trains between Tirupati and Nagarsol

To manage extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja and Diwali festival 2016, eighteen special trains will run between Tirupati and Nagarsol via., Secunderabad. The details of the trains, timings, route and composition of the trains are as given below:

Train No 07417 Tirupati – Nagarsol Special Train will depart Tirupati at 07:30 hrs on 16th, 23rd, 30th September, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th October, 4th and 11th November, 2016 (Friday) and will arrive/depart Secunderabad at 20:15/20:25 hrs on the same day and will arrive Nagarsol at 11.55hrs on the next day.

Train No.07418 Nagarsol – Tirupati Special Train will depart Nagarsol at 22:00 hrs on 17th, 24th September, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th October, 5th and 12th November, 2016 (Saturday), will arrive/depart Secunderabad at 11:55/12:05 hrs on the next day and will arrive Tirupati at 04:00 hrs on Mondays.

Route: These special trains will stop at Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, ongole, Tenali, Guntur, Sattenapalli, Piduguralla, Nadikudi, Miryalguda, Nalgonda, Cherlapalli, Begumpet, Lingampalli, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Zahirabad, Bidar, Bhalki, Udgir, Latur Road, Pangaon, Parli, Gangakher, Parbhani, Manavat Road, Selu, Partur, Jalna and Aurangabad stations in both up and down journey.

Composition: These special trains will have 19 coaches viz., one AC II Tier, three AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Diwali Special Trains between Howrah and Tirupati

To manage extra rush of passengers, 14 AC Superfast special trains will be run between Howrah and Tirupati during Diwali Festival 2016.

Train No. 02855 Howrah-Tirupati AC Superfast Special Train will depart Howrah at 12:40 hrs on 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th October, 1st, 8th and 15 th November 2016 (Tuesdays) and will arrive / depart Vijayawada at 07:50/08:00 hrs on Wednesday and will arrive Tirupati at 14:30 hrs.

Train No. 02858 Tirupati-Howrah AC Superfast Special Train will depart Tirupati at 15:55 hrs on 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th October, 2nd, 9th and 16th November, 2016 (Wednesdays), will arrive / depart Vijayawada at 22:00/22:15 hrs and will arrive Howrah at 18:30 hrs on the next day.

Route: The Diwali special trains will stop at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Rd, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations in both directions.

Composition: These special trains will consist of 16 coaches viz., fourteen AC III Tier Class and two Power Car Coaches.

Puja Special Trains 2016 between Kamakhya and Pune

To manage extra rush during puja, Eastern Railway will run Puja Special trains 2016 between Kamakhya and Pune.

Train No 82506 Kamakhya-Pune weekly Suvidha Special train will leave Kamakhya at 23:00 hrs, on 3,10,17,24,31 October and 7, 14 November, 2016.

Train No 82505 Pune-Kamakhya Suvidha Special will leave Pune station at 10:30 hrs. on 6, 13,20, 27 October and 3, 10, 17 November, 2016.

This train will stop at Malda Town, Andal & Asansol stations in Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both the directions.

These trains will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

Puja Special Trains 2016 between Kolkata and Dibrugarh

To manage extra rush during puja, Eastern Railway will run Puja Special trains 2016 between Kolkata and Dibrugarh.

Train No: 05942 Dibrugarh-Kolkata weekly Puja Special (via-Dankuni) will start from Dibrugarh station at 22:00 hrs. on 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 October and 6, 13 November, 2016.

Train No 05941 Kolkata-Dibrugarh Puja Special will leave Kolkata station at 7:40 hrs. on 4,11,18,25 October and 1, 8, 15 November, 2016.

These trains will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

Puja Special Trains 2016 between Kolkata and New Jalpaiguri

To manage extra rush during puja, Eastern Railway will run Puja Special trains 2016 between Kolkata and New Jalpaiguri.

Train No: 05245 New Jalpaiguri-Kolkata Weekly Special via- Azimganj-Katwa will leave New Jalpaiguri at 21:25 hrs. on 1,8,15,22,29 October and 5,12 November, 2016.

Train No 05246 Kolkata-New Jalpaiguri Special will leave Kolkata station at 23:20 hrs. on 2,9, 16, 23, 30 October and 6, 13 November, 2016.

These trains will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

Durga Puja and Diwali 2016 Special Trains between Tatanagar and Puri

To manage extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to run 15 pairs of Weekly Special between Tatanagar and Puri during the period from 10 August 2016 to 17 November 2016.

The Tatanagar-Puri Special (Train No 08408) leaving Tatanagar every Thursday at 12:15 hours will reach Puri at 23:45 hours on the same day.

In the opposite direction, the train (Train No 08407) leaving Puri every Wednesday at 21:25 hours will arrive Tatanagar at 10:45 hours, the next day.

The Special train consisting of 18 coaches (AC 2 Tier-1, AC 3 Tier -2, Sleeper Class-9, General Second Class-4 and Luggage Van-2)

The Special trains will have stoppages at Rajkharswan, Chaibasa, Dangoaposi, Banspani, Jaroli, Nayagarh, Kendujhargarh, Harichandanpur, Sukinda, Jakhapura, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road between Tatanagar and Puri.

Durga Puja and Diwali Festivals Special Trains 2016 between Santragachi and Puri

To manage extra rush of passengers, during ensuing Durga Puja and Diwali Festivals, it has been decided to run 13 pairs of Weekly Specials between Santragachi – Puri – Santragachi during the period from 07 October 2016 to 31/12/16.

The Special Train (Train No 08404) leaving Santragachi every Saturday at 19:10 hours will reach Puri at 04:00 hours, the next day.

In the opposite direction, the Special Train (Train No 08403) will leave Puri every Friday at 21:25 hours arriving Santragachi at 06:45 hours, the next day.

The Special train consisting of 18 coaches (AC 2 Tier-1, AC 3 Tier -2, Sleeper Class-9, General Second Class-4 and Luggage Van-2 and will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road between Santragachi and Puri.

Durga Puja and Diwali Special trains 2016 between Santragachi and Puducherry

To manage extra rush of passengers, Indian Railway will run 10 pairs of Special trains between Santragachi – Puducherry – Santragachi during the period from 06 August 2016 to 14 November 2016. The details of the trains, timings, compositions and stoppages are as given below:

The Santragachi – Puducherry Special ( Train No 06009) will leave Santragachi at 14:10 hours on 08 August 2016, 29 August 2016, 05 September 2016, 12 September 2016, 10 October 2016, 17 October 2016, 24 October 2016, 31 October 2016, 07 November 2016 and 14 November 2016 (Mondays) and will reach Puducherry at 20:15 hours on the next day.

In the opposite direction, the train no 06010 will leave Puducherry at 19:15 hours on 06 August 2016, 27 August 2016, 03 September 2016, 10 September 2016, 08 October 2016, 15 October 2016, 22 October 2016, 29 October 2016, 05 November 2016 and 12 November 2016 (Saturdays) and will arrive Santragachi at 04:30 hours on Monday.

Composition: The Special train consisting of 17 coaches (AC 2 Tier-1, AC 3 Tier -1, Sleeper Class-7, General Second Class-6 and Luggage Van-2) will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalapattu and Villupuram between Santragachi and Puducherry.

Diwali Special Trains 2016 Between LTT and Santragachi - Pune and Santragachi

Indian railway will run Air – Conditioned Superfast weekly special trains on special charges between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Santragachi - Pune and Santragachi to manage the extra rush of passengers during Diwali festival 2016. The details are as under:

Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Santragachi – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus AC Superfast Weekly Specials

Train No: 02859 AC Superfast weekly special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.20 hrs on Saturday 29 October 2016 and 5 November 2016 (2 trips) and arrive Santragachi at 18.15 hrs on the next day.

02860 AC Superfast weekly special will leave Santragachi at 18.30 hrs on Thursday 27 October 2016 and 3 November 2016 (2 trips) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Teminus at 23.45 hrs next day.

Route of the special trains: The special trains will halt at Igatpuri, Bhusaval, Nagpur, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar and Kharagpur.

Composition of the special trains: The special trains will have 6 AC 2-tier, 10 AC 3-tier.

Pune – Santragachi – Pune AC Superfast Weekly Specials

Train No 02821 AC Superfast weekly special will leave Pune at 10.30 hrs on every Monday from 10 October 2016 to 28 November 2016 (8 trips) and will arrive Santragachi at 18.15 hrs on the next day.

02822 AC Superfast weekly special will leave Santragachi at 18.30 hrs on every Saturday from 8 October 2016 to 26 November 2016 (8 trips) and will arrive Pune at 02.45 hrs on the third day.

Route of the special trains: The special trains will halt at Panvel, Bhusaval, Nagpur, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar and Kharagpur.

Composition of the special trains: The special trains will have 3 AC 2-tier, 8 AC 3-tier.

03427 Malda Town to Haridwar

The Durga Puja 2016 special trains will leave from Malda Town on 10, 17, 24, 31 October 2016, and 07 November2016 (Mondays) at 09.05 hrs and will arrive at Haridwar at 16.05 hrs on the next day (Tuesday).

03428 Haridwar to Malda Town

The Durga Puja 2016 special trains will leave from Haridwar on 11, 18, 25 October 2016, 01 and 08 November 2016 (Tuesdays) at 09.05 hrs and will arrive at Haridwar at 16.05 hrs on the next day (Wednesday).

The Durga Puja special trains 2016 will stop at New Farakka, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Quil, Patna, Mughalsarai, Baranasi, Lucknow, Barhawa, Dahebganj, Kahalgaon, Sultanganj, Abhoypur, Mokama, Bakhtiarpur, Arah, Buxar, Moradabad, and Laxar stations.
