To manage extra
rush of passengers during Sabarimalai Festival 2016, Southern Railway will run
special trains on special fare between Chennai Egmore and Kollam. The
details of the trains are as given below:
Special fare special trains between Chennai Egmore – Kollam
Train No.06051
Chennai Egmore – Kollam special fare special train will leave Chennai Egmore at
20.00 hrs. on 05th & 12th December, 2016 and reach Kollam at 11.45 hrs.
the next day.
Train No.06052
Kollam – Chennai Egmore special fare special train will leave Kollam at 21.15
hrs. on 06th & 13thDecember, 2016 and reach Chennai Egmore at 13.15 hrs.
the next day.
Composition:
The special train will he AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 8,
General Second Class – 4 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Route: The
special train will halt at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode,
Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam,
Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam in both up and down journey.

Kollam – Chennai Egmore special fare special train will stop at Perambur also.
