Durga Puja Special Trains 2017 Between Anand Vihar Terminal and Jay Nagar

To manage extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja and Diwali, Northern Railways will run special trains during the festival time. Details of the trains with dates, route and composition are given below.

Train No.04042/Train No.04041 Anand Vihar Terminal-Jay Nagar- Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Express Special ( 34 Trips)

The Train No.04042 Anand Vihar Terminal-Jay Nagar Bi-Weekly Express Special train will start from Anand Vihar Terminal at 12.55 p.m. on every Wednesday & Sunday from 03 September 2017 to 29 October 2017 to reach Jay Nagar at 01.30 p.m. the next day (17 trips).

In the return direction, Train No.04041 Jay Nagar- Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Express Special train will start from Jay Nagar at 03.30 p.m. onevery Thursday & Monday from 04 September 2017 to 30 October 2017 to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 04.30 p.m. the next day (17 trips).

Composition and Route: These special trains will have eleven Sleeper class , five general class & two second class cum luggage van coaches, the 04042/04041Anand Vihar Terminal-Jay Nagar- Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Express Special train will stop at Kanpur , Allahabad ,Mughal Sarai, Buxar , Ara , Patna, Patna Sahib, Mokameh Jn., Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga & Madhubani stations enroute in both the directions.
