2023 Eastern Railway Midnight EMU Durga Puja Special Trains of Sealdah And Howrah Division

To clear and for the convenience of extra rush of suburban passengers during Durga Puja to visit various pandals of Kolkata’s Durga pujas,Eastern Railway has decided to run Evening and Night EMU special trains in Sealdah and Howrah Divisions . The Puja special trains will stop at all Flag and Halt stations in both the directions. Some trains have been cancelled at non-pick time during Durga Puja 2023. 

Sealdah Division

 Good news for all the Durga Puja pandal hoppers. Eastern Railway has planned to run 18 additional trains with stops at all stations starting from Panchami to Bijoya Dashami in Sealdah section.

One (01) Pair Sealdah – Ranaghat Local (Departs Sealdah at 12.40 PM and leaves Ranaghat at 11:45 PM.) 2- Two (02) Pairs Sealdah – Kalyani Local (Departs Sealdah at 02:30 PM and 01:30 PM leaving at 12:10 and 3.00 leaving Kalyani.)

One (01) Pair Sealdah – Bangaon Local (Departing Sealdah at 01:20 PM and leaving Bangaon at 11:55 PM.) 4- One (01) Pair Sealdah – Dankuni Local (Departing Sealdah at 11:30 PM and Dankuni leaving at 12:25 p.m.).

Three (03) pairs Sealdah - Baruipur Local (will leave Sealdah at 03:20 PM, 12:20 PM and 02:20 PM. and leave Baruipur at 04:38 AM, 01:25 PM, 03:20 PM) 6 - One (01) pair of Sealdah – Baj Baj Local (Sealdah leaving at 11:30 PM and Baj Baj leaving at 12:30 PM)

On 21.10.2023 (Saptami), 22.10.2023 (Ashtami), 23.10.2023 (Navami), 24.10.2023 (Dashmi) and 28.10.2023 (Lakshmi Puja) all local trains will be noon. Will stand at all stations from 02.00. However, 13 EMU Locals will remain canceled on the above day.
