Introduction of New Daily Superfast Intercity Express Train Between Mangalore Central And Madgaon

To fulfill passengers’ demand and for the convenience of the passengers and with an aim to clearing passengers rush in Mangalore and Madgaon route, a new daily Superfast Intercity express Train No. 22636 / 22635 Mangalore Central - Madgaon – Mangalore Central, which was announced by the Hon’ble Minister for Railways in the Railway Budget 2013 – 14, Southern Railway has decided to inaugurate the daily Superfast Intercity express Train between Mangalore Central and Madgaon. The inaugural special run will be flagged off from Mangalore Central Railway station on 23/02/2014 at 15.30 hrs. by Sri Mallikarjun Kharge, Hon’ble Union  Minister of Railways.

The inaugural daily special Superfast Intercity express Train No. 02636 Mangalore Central to Madgaon will leave Mangalore Central at 15.30 hrs. and reach at Madgaon at at 22.15 hrs. on the same day.  

On regular service of the Train No. 22636 / 22635 Mangalore Central - Madgaon – Mangalore Central daily Superfast Intercity express with effect from 24/02/2014.

Running schedule of the Daily Superfast Intercity express train from Mangalore Central to Madgaon: Train will leave Mangalore Central at 08.15 hrs. everyday with effect from 24/02/2014. Train will reach at Madgaon at 14.00 hrs. on the same day.

Running schedule of the Daily Superfast Intercity express train from Madgaon to Mangalore Central : Train will leave Madgaon at 16.15 hrs. on everyday with effect from 24/02/2014.  Train will reach at Mangalore Central at 22.00 hrs. on the same day.

The Train No. 22636 / 22635 Mangalore Central - Madgaon – Mangalore Central Daily Superfast Intercity express train will stop at the following Stations: Surathkal, Udupi, Kundapura, Mookambika Road, Bhatkal, Kumta, Karwar and Cancona stations in both the directions.

Composition of the Train No. 22636 / 22635 Mangalore Central -  Madgaon – Mangalore Central Daily Superfast Intercity express train: One AC Chair Car, fourteen Second Class Sitting and two Disabled Friendly Second Class cum Luggage Van Coaches.
