Introduction of South Central Railway Weekly Express Train between Visakhapatnam and Kollam (Quilon)

As announced in the last Railway Budget 2013 – 14, Railway going to introduce weekly express between Visakhapatnam and Kollam (Quilon) with effect from 30/01/2014 from Visakhapatnam and with effect 31/01/2014 from Kollam as per the following schedule below :

Running schedule of the  weekly express train from Visakhapatnam to Kollam (Quilon): Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 09.00 hrs. on every Thursday with effect from 30/01/2014.Train will reach at Kollam (Quilon) at 21.00 hrs. on the next day (Friday).

 Weekly Express Train from Kollam (Quilon) to Visakhapatnam

Train No. 18568

Running schedule of the weekly express train from Kollam (Quilon) to Visakhapatnam: Train will leave Kollam (Quilon) at 21.00 hrs. on every Friday from 31/01/2014.Train will reach at Visakhapatnam at 01.35 hrs. on the third day (Sunday).

Train No. 18567 / 18568 Visakhapatnam – Kollam (Quilon) - Visakhapatnam weekly express train will stop at the following stations: Duvvada,Ellamanchili, Samalkot Jn., Elluru,Vijayawada Jn., Tenali Jn., Bapatla,Ongole,Nellore,Gudur Jn.,Renigunta Jn., Katpati Jn.,Jollarpettai,Salem Jn.,Erode Jn.,Tiruppur,Coambatore Jn.,Palakkad, Thrisur,Ernakulam Town,Kottayam,Chengannur and Kayankullam Jn. stations in both the directions.

Composition of the Train No. 18567 / 18568 Visakhapatnam – Kollam (Quilon) Visakhapatnam weekly express trains: One AC – 2 – tier, three AC – 3 – tier, nine Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two General Second Class Luggage cum Brake vans coaches.
