South Eastern Railway EMU special trains between Howrah and Midnapur During URS Festival 2013

To clear extra rush of suburban passengers to Midnapur on the occasion of URS festival, which is held in Jora Masjid of Midnapur every year of Maulana Syed Shah Murshed Ali Al Qadri Pir Saheb, South Eastern Railway has decided to run four pairs EMU special trains between Howrah and Midnapur. Out of four pairs, one pair will run on 16/02/2013,two pairs will run on 17/02/2013 and one pair will run on 18/02/2013.All the four pairs EMU special trains will stop at all the stations in between Howrah and Midnapur. Running of these special trains will be beneficial for a large number of pilgrims who are visiting the URS at Midnapur and also be a meeting ground for Indian and Bangladeshi pilgrims who visit the URS will help the progress of cultural ties between the two countries.
