On 14/01/2012 Hon’ble Minister for Railways,Sri Pawan Kumar Bansal flagged off new nonstop Shatabdi express between Chandigarh and New Delhi from Chandigarh railway station,which was in ahuge demand for introduction of an exclusive service between Chandigarh and New Delhi, in presence of Hon’ble Mayor of Chandigarh Sri Subhas Chawla,General Manager of Northern Railway Sri V.K.Gupta and many others railways personnel.The new Shatabdi express train will run six days in a week except Sunday.The Shatabdi express train will run as per the schedule mention below:
