North Central Railway will run number of special trains to manage extra rush of pilgrims on the occasion of Maha Kumbha Mela 2013. The special trains will run between Indore and Allahabad, Naini Jn. and Jabalpur, Special passenger trains for Allahabad, Kanpur Central, Varanasi, Mughalsarai, Chunar, Kanpur Central, Naini, Jhansi, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Bina and Manikpur.
To clear the extra rush of a large number of devotees from Indore Kanpur, Manikpur, Varanasi,Itersi,Chunar to go Allahahabad and from Jabalpur, Jhansi, Bina and Itarsi to Naini Jn. for holy dip at Sangam during Maha Kumbha Rituals 2013 which occurs once in 144 years which will be open on Makar Sankranti i.e., on 14/01/2013 and the fair will begin on Poush Purnima (on 27/01/2013), Mouni Amavashya (on 10/02/2013),Basanta Panchami (15/02/2013), Maghi Purnima (on 25/02/2013) and Maha Shivaratri (on 10/03/2013),North Central Railway has decided to run the following special express train and passenger trains:
