To clear the extra rush of passengers from West Bengal and Delhi during celebration of Christmas 2012 and New Year 2013, Indian Railway will run special toy trains.
Northern Railway running two more special Toy trains between Kalka and Simla to connect with other trains’ arriving at Kalka .This Toy train has first and second class bogies with a capacity of about one hundred fifty passengers. These two special toy trains services will continue till first week of January 2013 and may be extended if require.
The First special Toy Train from Kalka to Simla
The first special Toy train has been connected with Howrah – Kalka Mail which is arriving at Kalka at 04.30 hrs.
Running schedule of the First special Toy Train from Kalka to Simla: Train will leave Kalka at 06.30 hrs.
The Second special Toy Train from Kalka to Simla
The Second special Toy Train has been connected with Himalayan Queen and Shatabdi from Delhi.
Running schedule of the Second special Toy Train from Kalka to Simla: Train will leave Kalka at 12.45 hrs.
