To clear extra rush of passengers during Deepabali or Diwali, Southern Railway has decided to run the following special trains :
1). Weekly Deepabali or Diwali special train between Tiruneveli and Chennai Central (Via Tiruchchirappalli, Erode).
2). Weekly Deepabali or Diwali special train between Chennai Central and Nagercoil (Via Chennai Egmore, Villupuram, Vridhachalam).
3). Weekly Deepabali or Diwali superfast special train between Nagercoil and Chennai Egmore (Via Madurai Jn., Tiruchchirappalli, Vridhachalam, Villupuram).
4). Weekly Deepabali or Diwali superfast special train between Chennai Central and Coimbatore.
5). Weekly Deepabali or Diwali special train between Tiruchchirappalli and Chennai Egmore (Via Mayiladuthurai, Villupuram).
6). Weekly Deepabali or Diwali superfast special train between Coimbatore and Chennai Central.
7). Weekly Deepabali or Diwali special train between Chennai Egmore and Tuticorin (Via Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai).
