As announced in the last Railway Budget, running of a Link Express train between Bhubaneswar and Bhawanipatana, East Coast Railway has decided to introduce a new Express train between Bhubaneswar and Bhawanipatana.
On the inaugural run on 11/08/2012 the Bhubaneswar - Bhawanipatna Link Express train will be inaugurated from Bhawanipatna Station.
Train No. 18437
Bhubaneswar - Bhawanipatna Link Express :- This train will leave Bhubaneswar at 19.35 hrs.and will reach at Bhawanipatna at 09.00 hrs. on the next day.
Train No. 18438
Bhawanipatna - Bhubaneswar - Link Express :- This train will leave Bhawanipatna at 18.45 hrs. and will reach at Bhawanipatna at 08.25 hrs. on the next day.
This new train will run with Train No.18447/18448 Bhubaneswar – Jagadalpur – Bhubaneswar, Hirakhand Express upto Rayagada and will be bifurcated and amalgamated with Hirakhand Express at Rayagada from both the direction. This train will stop as the Hirakhand Express between Bhubaneswar and Rayagada and will stop between Rayagada and Bhawanipatna at Bissamcuttack, Muniguda, Ambodola, Lanjigarh Road, Ramchandrapir and De-Pur Stations.
Composition of the Bhubaneswar – Jagadalpur – Bhubaneswar Express Train :- One AC- 3 Tier, Two Sleeper Class, Two General Second Class and Two Guard – cum - Luggage Van coaches
