Eastern Railway will
run special trains between Sealdah and Kamakhya to manage extra rush of
passengers in this summer.

Train No. 02261 Sealdah to Kamakhya summer
special will leave from Sealdah on the following dates:
April: 01, 08, 15, 22, 29
May: 06, 13, 20, 27
June: 03, 10, 17 and 24
Train No. 02262 Kamakhya to Sealdah summer
special will leave from Kamakhya on the following dates:
April: 02, 09, 16, 23, 30
May: 07, 14, 21, 28
June: 04, 11, 18 and 25
Route of Train No. 02261 / 02262: These trains will halt at New Cooch Behar
and New Bongaigoan stations also in both the directions.
Composition of Train No. 02261 / 02262: The train will have 1st AC – 1 coach, AC II Tier – 3 coaches, AC III Tier
– 11 coaches and power car – 2 coaches.
The booking for train
no. 02261 will be opened from 30th March, 2016 with advance reservation period
of 60 days at all PRS counters and internet.
