Introduction of New Weekly Superfast Express Trains between Bhubaneswar and Tirupati

To fulfill passengers’ demand and for the convenience of the passengers and with an aim for clearing passengers’ rush from Bhubaneswar towards Tirupati, a weekly superfast express train between Bhubaneswar and Tirupati with effect from 14/09/2013 will be introduced which was announced in the last Budget :

Running schedule of the weekly superfast express train from Bhubaneswar to Tirupati: Train will leave Bhubaneswar at 12.00 hrs. on every Saturday with effect from  14/09/2013. Train will reach at Tirupati at 09.25 hrs. on the next  day (Sunday).

Running schedule of the weekly superfast express train from Tirupati to Bhubaneswar: Train will leave Tirupati at 12.45 hrs. on every Sunday with effect from 15/09/2013. Train will reach at Bhubaneswar at 10.10 hrs. on the next  day (Monday).

The Train No. 22879 / 22880 Bhubaneswar – Tirupati - Bhubaneswar weekly superfast  express train will stop at the following Stations : Khurda Road Jn.,Balugagaon, Chatrapur,Brahmapur,Ichhapuram,Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram Jn.,Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Samalkot Jn., Rajamundry, Elluru, Vijayawada Jn., Ongole,Nellore,Gudur Jn., Renigunta Jn. stations in both the directions.
