Introduction of New Train between Puri and Sainagar Shirdi - East Coast Railway

It was announced in last Railway Budget for running a Weekly Express train between Puri and Sainagar Shirdi. East Coast has introduced the new train with effect from 10/08/2013.The train will run regularly from Puri on every Friday with effect from 16/08/2013 and from Sainagar Shirdi on every Sunday with effect from 18/08/2013 as per the following schedule mention below :

Running schedule of the weekly express train from Puri to Sai Nagar Shirdi: Train will leave Puri at 22.15hrs. on every Sunday with effect from 16/08/2013.Train will reach at Sainagar Shirdi at 08.25 hrs. on the third day (Sunday).

Running schedule of the weekly express train from Sainagar Shirdi to Puri: Train will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 13.00 hrs. on every Sunday from 18/08/2013.Train will reach at Puri at 23.00 hrs. on the next day (Monday).

Train No. 18407 / 18408 Puri – Sainagar Shirdi - weekly express train will stop at the following stations: Khurda Road Jn., Bhubaneswar, Mancheswar, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Boinda, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Raipur, Durg, Gondia Jn., Nagpur, Wardha Jn., Badnera Jn., Akola Jn., Bhusaval Jn., Manmad Jn. and Kopargaon stations in both the directions.

Composition of the Train No. 18407 / 18408 Puri – Sainagar Shirdi - Puri weekly express train: One AC – 2 – tier, three AC – 3 – tier, nine Sleeper Class, six General Second Class, two Guard’s cum Luggage Vans and one Pantry Car Coaches.
