Christmas, New Year, Irumudi, Thaipoosam and Pongal festival special trains 2012 – 2013 between Chennai Egmore and Tuticorin

To clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas, New Year, Irumudi,  Thaipoosam  and Pongal festivals, Southern Railway has decided to run the following special trains:

 

Chennai Egmore to Tuticorin

Train No.06035

Running schedule of the special train 2012 – 13  from Chennai Egmore to Tuticorin (Via Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai): Train will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.45  hrs. on every Tuesday from 27/11/2012 to 22/01/2013 i.e., 27/11, 04/12, 11/12, 18/12, 25/12/2012, 01/01/2013,08/01, 15/01 and 22/01/2013 (09 trips).Train will reach at Tuticorin at 12.50 hrs. on the next day.

Tuticorin to Chennai Egmore

Train No.06036

Running schedule of the special train 2012 – 13 from Tuticorin to  Chennai Egmore (Via Mayiladuthurai, Villupuram): Train will leave Tuticorin at 18.15 hrs. every Wednesday from 28/11/2012 to 23/01/2013 i.e.,28/11, 05/12, 12/12, 19/12, 26/12/2012, 02/01/2013,09/11,16/01 and 23/01/2013 (09 trips).. Train will reach at Chennai Egmore at 07.20 hrs. on the next day.

Route of train number 06035 / 06036

Train No. 06035 / 06036 will stop at the following  stations: Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Melmaruvattur, Villupuram Jn.,  Tirupadiripuliyur,Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tiruchchirappalli,Dindigul, Madurai Jn., Virudunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachi and Milavittan stations in both the directions.Train No.06035 will stop at  Tuti Melur and  Train No. 06036  will stop at Mambalam station also.

Composition of the Train No. 06035 / 06036: One AC – 2 – tier, two Ac – 3 – tier, thirteen sleeper class, three general second class and  two luggage cum brake van coaches.
