To manage extra rush of passengers during Christmas 2015, Western Railway will run many trains in different destinations. The details of the Christmas special trains are given below.
09009/09010 Mumbai Central – Mangalore Jn. Weekly Superfast Special Train (via Vasai Road) [4 Services]
Train No. 09009 Mumbai Central – Mangalore Jn. Weekly Superfast Special train will leave Mumbai Central at 23.15 hrs on Wednesdays, i.e. 23rd & 30th December, 2015 and will reach Vasai Road next day (Thursday) at 00.30 hrs and arrive Mangalore Jn. at 19.15 hrs on the same day (Thursday).
Train No. 09010 Mangalore Jn. – Mumbai Central Weekly Superfast Special train will leave Mangalore Jn. at 22.30 hrs on Thursdays, i.e. 24th & 31st December, 2015 and will reach Vasai Road the next day (Friday) at 17.40 hrs and arrive Mumbai Central at 19.25 hrs on the same day (Friday).
Composition: AC 2 Tier, AC 3 tier and Sleeper class coaches.
Route: The train will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor & Udupi stations in both the directions.
09415/09416 Ahmedabad – Mangalore Jn. Weekly Superfast Special Train (via Vasai Road) [04 Services]
Train No. 09415 Ahmedabad – Mangalore Jn. Weekly Superfast Special train will leave Ahmedabad at 16.50 hrs on Thursdays, i.e. 24th & 31st December, 2015 and will reach Vasai Road next day (Friday) at 00.40 hrs and arrive Mangalore Jn. at 18.15 hrs on the same day (Friday).
Train No. 09416 Mangalore Jn.- Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Special train will leave Mangalore Jn. at 21.30 hrs on Fridays, i.e. 25th December, 2015 & 1st January, 2016 and will reach Vasai Road the next day (Saturday) at 16.10 hrs and arrive Ahmedabad at 00.20 hrs, the third day (Sunday).
Composition: It will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3 tier and Sleeper class coaches.
Route: The train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Dahanu Road, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor & Udupi stations in both the directions.
09310/09309 Indore – Kochuvelli (Weekly) “Superfast” Suvidha Special train (via Vasai Road) [04 Services]
Train No. 09310 Indore – Kochuvelli (Weekly) “Superfast” Suvidha Special train will leave Indore at 21.05 hrs on Tuesdays, i.e. 22nd & 29th December, 2015 and will reach Vasai Road next day (Wednesday) at 11.20 hrs and arrive Kochuvelli at 19.10 hrs on third day (Thursday).
Train No. 09309 Kochuvelli – Indore (Weekly) “Superfast” Suvidha special train will leave Kochuvelli at 11.00 hrs on Fridays, i.e. 25th December, 2015 & 1st January, 2016 and will reach Vasai Road the next day (Saturday) at 15.10 hrs and arrive Indore at 05.15 hrs on third day (Sunday).
Composition: AC 2 Tier, AC 3 tier and Sleeper Class coaches.
Route: The train will stop at Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Dahod, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Mangalore Jn. Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Jn., Allepey, Kayankulam and Kollam stations in both the directions.
The booking of Train No. 09009 Mumbai Central – Mangalore Jn. Weekly Superfast Special train and 09415 Ahmedabad – Mangalore Jn. Weekly Superfast Special train will open on 20th December, 2015.
The booking of Train No. 09310 Indore – Kochuvelli Superfast Suvidha special train has opened on 19th December, 2015.
