To clear the extra rush of pilgrims moving towards Gangasagar, Eastern Railways will run special trains in year 2014 like every year. Galloping EMU Gangasagar special trains will run as usual in Sealdah-Lakshmikantapur-Namkhana route. Ganga Sagar Mela 2014 date is 14 January.
Eastern Railway has decided to run seven Galloping EMU Mela Special trains in Sealdah – Lakshmikantapur – Namkhana Section with effect from 12/01/2014 to 16/01/2014 in addition to the scheduled train services.
