Introduction of New Weekly Express Train In Northern Railway between Kanpur Central and Amritsar

To fulfill passengers’ demand and for the convenience of the passengers Railways have decided to run a Weekly Express Train between Kanpur and Amritsar as announced in Rail Budget 2012-13. The train has been inaugurated on 05/11/2013 from Kanpur Central as Train No. 08513.On regular service Weekly express Train No.14153 / 14154 Kanpur Central – Amritsar - Kanpur Central will run regularly from Kanpur Central on every Monday with effect  from 11/11/2013 and from Amritsar on every Tuesday with effect  from 12/11/2013 as per the following schedule :

Running schedule of the weekly express train from Kanpur Central to Amritsar: Train will leave Kanpur Central at 17.05 hrs. on every Monday with effect from 11/11/2013. Train will reach Amritsar at 09.30 hrs. on the next  day.

Train No.14154

Running schedule of the weekly express train from Amritsar to Kanpur Central : Train will leave Amritsar at 12.35 hrs. on every Tuesday with effect from 12/11/2013. Train will reach Kanpur Central at 05.00 hrs. on the next  day.

The Train No. 14153 / 14154 Kanpur Central -  Amritsar -  Kanpur Central weekly  express train will stop at the following Stations : Bareilly,Moradabad,Laskar,Roorkee, Saharanpur,Ambala Cantt.,Rajpura, Ludhiana Jn.,Phagwara,Jalandhar City and Beas Jn. stations in both the directions.

Composition of the Train No. 14153 / 14154 Kanpur Central -  Amritsar -  Kanpur Central weekly  express : Two AC – 3- tier, five Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and  two Disabled Friendly Second Class cum Luggage Van Coaches.
