Durga Puja and Diwali 2013 Special Express Trains between Guwahati and Gorakhpur



To clear the extra rush of large number of passengers during the Durga Puja and Diwali Festivals season 2013, Railways have decided to run a special train for the convenience of the passengers, between Guwahati and Gorakhpur:

 Running schedule of the Weekly Durga Puja and Diwali Festivals Special Express Train 2013 from Guwahati to Gorakhpur : Train will leave Guwahati at 21.00 hrs. on every Friday 11/10/2013 to 29/11/2013  i.e.,11/10,18/10,25/10,01/11,08/11,15/11,22/11 and  29/11/2013 (08 trips).Train will reach at Gorakhpur at 21.35 hrs. on the next day.

Running schedule of the Weekly Durga Puja and Diwali Festivals Special Express Train 2013 from Gorakhpur to Guwahati: Train will leave Gorakhpur at 23.30 hrs. on every Saturday from 12/10/2013 to 30/11/2013 i.e.,12/10, 19/10, 26/10, 02/11, 09/11,                      16/11, 23/11 and  30/11/2013 (08 trips). Train will reach at Guwahati at 23.30 hrs. on the next  day.

The Train No.05609 / 05610 Guwahati  - Gorakhpur  - Guwahati Weekly Durga Puja and Diwali Festivals Special Express Train 2013 will stop at the following Stations : Kamakhya Jn., Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar,New Cooch Behar, Dhupguri, New Jalpaiguri, Kishangang,Barsoi Jn.,Katihar Jn.,Naugachia, Khagaria Jn., Barauni Jn., Hajipur Jn.,Sonpur Jn.,Chhapara,Siwan  Jn.,Thawe Jn., Tamkuhi Road,Padrauna, and Kaptanganj Jn. stations in both the directions.
       
 Composition of the 05609 / 05610 Guwahati - Gorakhpur - Guwahati Weekly Durga Puja and Diwali Festivals Special Express Train 2013: One AC – 2 – tier, nine AC - 3 –tier, thirteen Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two SLR/SLRD coaches.
