Special Toy Trains in West Bengal and Delhi for Christmas and New Year’s Celebrations

To clear the extra rush of passengers from West Bengal and Delhi during celebration of Christmas 2012 and New Year 2013, Indian Railway will run special toy trains.

Northern Railway running two more special Toy trains between Kalka and Simla to connect with other trains’ arriving  at Kalka .This Toy train has first and second class bogies with a capacity of about one hundred fifty  passengers. These two special toy trains services will continue till first week of January 2013 and may be extended if require.

Central Railways will run six special trains from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus/Dadar Terminus to Sewagram/Ajni/Nagpur to clear the extra rush of passengers. The rush of passengers will be due to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Maha Parinirvan Divas which will be celebrated at Dadar Chaitya Bhoomi on 6th December 2012. The special trains are as follows:
